Stefanie Weigand

Stefanie Weigand is the director of vocal music at Harwood Union Middle and High School and lives in central Vermont with her husband, two daughters, and two canine kids. Stefanie received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College. There, she appeared in many mainstage productions and worked as a music director/pianist on and off campus. In NYC, Stefanie toured nationally with a children’s theatre company and was also a member of the New York Choral Society, where she performed at Lincoln Center with the Met Orchestra, at Carnegie Hall, and in Madison Square Garden for Andrea Bocelli’s Concert Tour. In Vermont, Stefanie has her own private voice studio, adjudicates and accompanies various music festivals, and continues to direct, musical direct and perform with the VT Philharmonic, Mad River Chorale, the Green Mountain Opera Festival, Stowe Theatre Guild, Café Noir productions, and Green Mountain Performing Arts. She is the Dean of Students for the New England Music Festival Association, current High School Repertoire & Standards Chair for the Vermont ACDA, and is thrilled to be taking on the role of President-Elect for the VT-ACDA this summer.
