The Jake Whitesell Quartet featuring Andrew Moroz on piano, Gabe Jarrett on drums/cymbals and Robinson Morse on double bass plays original tunes and classic material from the last 80 plus years as filtered through the lens of the great American songbook and jazz as it has come to be known- approaching the canon with a fresh and unique sound built upon group improvisation and rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic interplay, the Quartet is thrilled to be playing their first performance at the Phoenix.
